Video: Extend Outlook UI with advanced version neutral regions

Office users love Microsoft Outlook. But users often have unique productivity methods that don’t quite fit within Outlook’s out of the box features set. Thanks to Add-in Express this isn’t a problem! Developers can extend Outlook’s user interface by implementing something known as version neutral regions.

Add-in Express version neutral regions are advanced Outlook view and form regions that reside within Outlook. They allow developers to display their custom .net forms in the Outlook Explorer window via advanced views. And the same is true with Outlook inspector windows where you can take your custom .net forms and display them within the Inspector window. This is because Add-in Express regions give you more control over where you can display your regions as compared to those introduced with Outlook 2007.

The video was created especially for the Add-in Express feature tour, hope you will enjoy it!
