Video HowTo: Outlook Explorer regions – RightReadingPane region (VB.NET)

As you can guess from the title of this post, today it is the turn for the RightReadingPane region. In this video HowTo sample, we are going to create a new region residing to the right of the Outlook Reading Pane, and we’ll add just a little code there.

The coding part of the video will control the state and location of our custom region. As you probably already know, the Add-in Express advanced regions can be in three states – Normal, Minimized and Hidden. If you haven’t heard about this feature yet, just cast a quick look at Hidden and minimized Outlook regions.

Let’s see how it works:

This sample video was captured in Visual Studio 2010 (VB.NET) with Add-in Express 2010 for Office and .net.
