The King is dead. Long live the King!

Yesterday I found an interesting message in my inbox and understood it was high time for us to start playing with Chrome. RemObjects Chrome 1.5, the next generation Object Pascal for .NET and Mono, is released.

I have been watching silently the development this project and I felt the extraordinary energy put into it by the guys from RemObjects. And it looks like they have managed to create a unique product. Chrome is an Object Pascal compiler built for Microsoft Visual Studio. Now Chrome supports Visual Studio 2005 and .NET Framework 2.0 as well as Visual Studio 2003 and .NET Framework 1.1. To my mind Chrome Team gives us a chance to stay with Pascal, while Borland with the releases of Delphi 2005 and 2006 deprived us of this opportunity. Moreover, Chrome guys have given us a chance to support Chrome with our Add-in Express. I’m sure Add-in Express will do it promptly. The King is dead. Long live the King!
