Video: Internet Explorer bar UI synchronization
Internet Explorer implements that all-too-common tab interface. Each tab contains a web page that could be closely related to something in another open tab…or it could be something different entirely. Users open lots of pages at a time.
And with the advent of more and more “Web Applications”, these tabs contain not pages, but applications (although they are still HTML pages). Whatever, the point I want to make is that if you extend Internet Explorer with an Advanced IE Bar, you might want your bar to reside in the same location across all open tabs. Then again, you might not and would rather allow the users to adjust the location of the bar in each tab.
