Technical Evangelist (remote position)

As a Technical Evangelist, you work for us remotely and are the primary external technical advocate for Add-in Express. Your mission is to help our customers learn, master and be successful with our products. You are an enthusiastic self-starter who is excited about Add-in Express tools and is capable of enhancing the learning experience of our customers and partners. You can create and deliver:

  • Blog posts, articles and other social networking means; running a targeted blog is undoubtedly the biggest plus
  • Technology samples
  • Reference applications
  • White papers
  • Videos

You are winning developers' hearts and minds with creative, non-trivial and inspiring educational content.


  • Present and distribute your ideas, experiences and technical expertise through various media (samples, applications, blog posts, articles, videos, etc.)
  • Communicate clearly in written and spoken English
  • Think laterally, independently; resolve diverse problems with creative and innovative solutions
  • Monitor current technology trends and be able to communicate new concepts and ideas
  • Work with our developers and managers to bring excellent learning experience to our customers


  • Lively and unofficial communication and writing style, reasonable sarcasm and topical jokes are encouraged
  • At least 3 years of software development with Microsoft technologies such as VSTO, ClickOnce, Office interoperability
  • Good knowledge of Add-in Express for Office, Office object model, Outlook and MAPI is a big plus
  • Examples of your previous work
  • Advanced knowledge in VB.NET, or C#, or Delphi, or Delphi Prism

Technical Support Engineer (remote or local position)

As a Technical Support Engineer for Add-in Express Company, you will provide customer service and technical support for our developer community.

After a short familiarization and learning period that will shed light into the insight of our products, and ensure that you know them from A to Z at the code level and within applications and have them at your finger tips :), your main task will be providing exceptional technical support to customers via the web, email and phone.

You will troubleshoot customer questions and issues, create samples, review code, analyze and reproduce bugs. If you are one of those (so rare and that's why so appreciated and wanted :) tech persons with a bent for writing, you are most welcome to contribute your articles to our technical blog!


  • Provide direct programming support to professional developers using our products, via phone, live chat, forums, and email
  • Analyze, reproduce, and troubleshoot technical problems and customer questions using Add-in Express products
  • Actively post to forums
  • Create sample apps and functionality samples for our Knowledge Base and customers
  • Review and troubleshoot complex code issues for customers
  • Test, verify and reproduce bugs reported by our customers
  • Take small programming projects
  • Do remote sessions with customers
  • Respond timely, efficiently and professionally
  • Provide feedback and suggestions on Add-in Express products and services, submit ideas for new products, the latter is optional but the most welcome! :)


  • Excellent spoken and written communication in English is a must
  • Hands-on experience with Add-in Express products
  • High customer service skills
  • Management, team lead, or other leadership role experience is a plus
  • Familiarity, experience with and ability to write MS Office extensions (COM add-ins, smart tags, RTD servers, XLLs, UDFs) with or without Add-in Express
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 - 2010 (VB.NET, C#, C++), Delphi 5 - 2010
  • Good knowledge of the Office object model, Outlook and MAPI is a big plus
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience
  • Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and enjoy a dynamic and fast-paced environment
