Task pane text entry looses focus to Excel

I have a TreeView control on a Task Pane in Excel. When I enable editing on a node, focus appears to be on the text to edited, but as soon as I type anything, the text goes to Excel, not the TreeView. How do keep Excel from stealing the focus?

Hi Eric,

I have just tested it on my PC with Add-in Express 2010 Beta 2 installed. Unfortunately I couldn't reproduce the issue you described. It works as expected.

1. What version and build number of Add-in Express do you use?
2. What Office version do you use?
3. Do you mean Office task panes (not Advanced Task Panes)?

I'm using version 2009 5.2 with Office 2007 SP2. And believe I'm referring to the Advanced Task Pane, ADXExcelTaskPane?

Hi Eric,

Thank you for providing me with a sample project. I have tested it on my PC with Office 2007 SP2 and didn't meet anything strange on the road.

Please try installing the latest build of Add-in Express 2009 (2028). I have just sent you an e-mail with a link for download.
