Outlook XP Security Dialog - Add In Express

Hi,

I am having trouble with an Outlook Add-In under Outlook XP.

It installas and runs fine but when I access some properties of a Mailitem from my Add-In code I get a Security pop-up asking me for permission to access the Address Book.

I understood that the Shim created as part of the Add-In would bypass this.
It works fine when installed on Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003.

Is there somet other setting that I'm missing or something else I need to include with my installer?

Thanks,

Brendon Colloty.

Hi, Brendon.

In Outlook 2003 you don't get the security warnings because this situation has been fixed by Microsoft. As for Outlook 2000, it depends on whether you have installed Service Pack for Office 2000. To make sure that the security warnings will never appear I would advice you to use our Outlook Security Manager .NET component:
