Hi,

I have a new install of Visual Studio 2005. I just installed Add-in express 2007 for VSTO on top of it. Everytime I try to open a project that has Add-in express components I get the error:

The project type is not supported by this installation.

This is also happening for projects that are shipped as demo projects with Add-in Express 2007.

Please let me know if you need more details.

Found the problem, There I did not run the VSTO package on the machine. This VSTO package creates the Office hooks(Office 2003 & 2007 add-ins) into the project types in Visual Studio.after that everything worked.

Hi Anshul.

Yes, right. VSTO 2005 SE should be installed separately.
