Hi,
We have facing a problem about turning on/of the UAC If the UAC is unchecked our program in IE toolbar worked fine but we to run withoout unchecking the UAC on vista ..
Please help us to solve this problem, We are using addins epress premium for IE toolbar.

What is going wrong when you turn the UAC on?
IS it IE7? Protected mode?

When UAC is on this the error when i registered..

You missed my questions:
IS it IE7? Protected mode?
Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\ConfigFile' is denied.
at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
So you access some file. Aha! If it is IE7, if it is the Protected Mode case then try googlong for protected mode API.

Hi Andrei,
Let go to basic.
I had just create simple button on IE toolbar with no codes, when i build this this is the error.
Error 1 Cannot register assembly "C:\Users\me\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\tubotest\tubotest\bin\Debug\tubotest.dll" - access denied. Please make sure you're running the application as administrator. Access to the registry key 'HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\tubotest.IEModule' is denied. tubotest
I am running as administrator, but UAC is on and I don't want to be off because that is the requirements, what should be possible solution for this?

Santisan,
Try running Visual Studio "as administrator".
