Add-in express Outlook plugin and Xenocode Postbuild
Is there a way to virtualize a plugin?

Hi,

We finally made our first plugin for outlook (Yeepee), but it needs .Net framework 3.5 (wpf), something our client don't necesserally want to deploy on their machine.
Xenocode Postbuild offer a virtualization mechanism to be able to run a .net product without installing the whole framework (or a native linking, I don't really know).
Does someone managed to make this work for a plugin?

Best regards,
Christophe

Christophe,

Do you use the ADX loader?

Indeed we do use the ADX loader. Does it make a difference?

Best regards,

Hi Christophe,

It makes sense because the adxloader is a native assembly. We didn't test the Xenocode Postbuild with Add-in Express add-ins. But I think it will not work.
