Hi
I have the following scenario that produces an error:
User A goes on holiday or out of office and deligates User B to have access to their inbox.
User B then opens User A's inbox using File > Open > Other User's Folder then selects Tanya and Inbox and OK
User B can repeated open Tanya's inbox from the shortcut
User A then returns to the office and removed permissions for user B.
User B then opens up users A's inbox from the shortcut again and recieves the follow error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
User B's Outlook totally hangs and needs to be killed off using task manager.
If User B uses the File > Open > Other User's Folder then selects Tanya and Inbox and OK they receive the correctly handled message:
Sergey, we have 150 users that are changing security to inbox, contact and callenders on a daily basis and they all want to use the shortcuts. Could you possibly have a look at the code for the add-in in this scenario and see if you can trap the crash in the add-in when opening a folder from a shortcut and display "Unable to display folder".
I have sent an e-mail directly to you with extra screenshots.
Thanks
Matt

Hi Matt.
I know about this issue and I will try to fix it in the next build.
However I can't reproduce Outlook hanging. Probably you have the code in the ExplorerFolderSwitch event handler that causes Outlook hanging. Please check it. |
