Hi Sergey,

while creating setup i got four file created in my debug folder

folder : dotnetfx
folder : WindowsInstaller3_1
file : setup.exe
file : myapplication.msi

blue

if i run only myapplication .msi the setup is completed successfully and my application is displaying in add/remove program.
but redin MsWord.

if i run setup.exe the setup is completed successfully and my application is displaying in add/remove program and addin are getting displayed in MsWord.

i m not able to understand where the actual problem is.

Ashish, do you install the add-in for all users (RegisterForAllUsers property of the addinmodule = true)?

In this case you should install the add-in under the admin account only.
Or you can use the setup.exe to elevate user's permissions and install it under a non-admin user. Of course, you will have to enter the administrator's password.
