In relation to the performance problem I'm having I thought I'd try poping my froms from and additional Module to see if that changed anything (hey I'm desperate).

So I used Add->AddNewItem and selected COM Add-In AdditionalModule

I added AdxCommandBar and added a button to that. It won't display! Is there something else I need to do?

Guys I figured it out for myself!

For those that haven't you need to go to the properties page of the main AddInModule and select Modules. This manages a list of ModuleItems. Create a new one and in the ModuleProgID select the AdxAddInAdditionalModule you created.
