Find cell's old value

Is there anyway i can get hold of what was a cells old value?

ex.
A1 has "Black"
A1 is edited to contain "Red"
B1 is edited to contain "Blue"

Now i know the value of A1 is "Red", but i can find out if A1 previously contained "Black"?
