Hi,

I would like to add a outlook address book type to get contacts from a database like this user want it, too (http://www.add-in-express.com/forum/read.php?FID=5&TID=1460&MID=6723&phrase_id=462527#message6723).

Like him I don't want to sync anything. I know from am CRM (Goldmine) that they have an Add-In or somthing else for that. In this software you can get the contacts from they're database. The only thing you have to do is create a new Outlook address book with the type Goldmine address book and then you can connect to that data.

Are there any new information? How can I handle this?

Hi Timur.

Do you know the Goldmine AB is populated somehow?

Hi Sergey,

I'm sorry. I don't know what you mean with AB? Do you mean the software addon?

The GoldMine AddOn or Outlook Add-In is called GISMO (GoldMine Integration Services for Microsoft Outlook).

I don't know where to download the software with this Add-In. I hope I can get the software from my customer for testing purpose.

Hi Sergey,

I'm sorry, but I didn't get the software and you can just install with a full version of GoldMine.

In an other forum I asked for this topic, too, and got this answer: "No, that's not a job for .NET. It involves creating a new address book provider with Extended MAPI and C++ or Delphi."

So if I understood it right it is not possible to write an address book proider with .NET.
