Hi,

I wrote a Add-In for Outlook and am overall happy with the product.
However I found one issue, that may be easy so solve but I didn't see how.
When I use the Outlook region Dock Top the Form starts where the left folder view ends and the mail explorer starts.

Now when I resize the Mail pane, my Add In doesn't change the size. So now its just starting somewhere no longer aligned with the mail pane.

So two questions? Can the DockTop form start at the left of the window? And secondly how can I align with the mail pane, once the mail pane is resized?

Thanks,

Alex

Hello Alex,

What is the build number of AddinExpress.OL.2005.DLL used in your project? Also, what Outlook build are you using?

Hi Andrei,

Version is 10.2.4714.0

This is Microsoft® Outlook® 2019 MSO (Version 2403 Build 16.0.17425.20176) 32-bit.

Of note, when I wanted to check those version for you, it was actually perfect. The Top Dock area filled the whole width. After the next build (or Outlook restart, not sure) it was gone :( I tried restarting the machine but to no avail.

Thanks,

Alex

Sorry is there any update on this? I would love to use the Top Dock region. It would make my day.
But currently I can not because the pane does not cover 100% of the space.

Thanks,

Alex

Hello Alex,

I'm sorry for not responding in time; your case seemed to be part of the issue discussed in another topic (https://www.add-in-express.com/forum/read.php?SHOWALL_1=1&FID=5&TID=16655#nav_start). Now, we see that your issue is a separate one. Still, we will provide a fix only as part of the fix discussed in the other topic; you can check that topic from time to time.

Although I don't reproduce the exact behavior shown in your screenshots, I see a deviation that supposedly affected your case as well.
