We are distributing our Office365-AddIn automatically via a MSI-package.

The Admin-Account used for this operation, doesn't have an Outlook Profile.
When doing an quiet Uninstall - it fails. Without quiet-parameter, the 'Welcome to Outlook' - Window appears.

Does anyone have an idea why this happens?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Kathrin,

The custom action executable, adxregistrator.exe, allows specifying a log file. Could you please create such a log file to check what causes the fail?

Hello Andrei,

how can I specify a logfile for adxregistrator.exe within an installer-package?

I do have logfiles for the msi-install. Would they be also helpful for you?

Thanks for helping us.

Hello Kathrin,

I'm sorry, I've mistaken: The custom action executable, adxregistrator.exe, it does creates a log file; by default, the log file is {user profile}\AppData\Local\Temp\<ProductName>\adxregistrator.log; the ProductName part reflects the ProductName field of AssemblyInfo.cs (AssemblyInfo.vb).

Could you please check whether such a log points to an issue?

Thank you. They may help, too. Please send them to support @ add-in-express.com; remove extra spaces.
