Using the Toolbar Controls for Outlook and am trying to display a LinkLabel on a commandbar using the adxCommandBarAdvancedControl. The label shows up but I cannot make it transparent even by setting its backcolor to Transparent. Is transparency not supported by this product?

Thanks,
Toby

Hi Toby,

I am afraid it is NET controls' limitation. The point is that when the BackColor is set to transparent, the NET control searches for its NET parent and takes the parent color. In our case the NET control is placed over the native Windows window. I think instead of standard NET Framework controls, you can try some third-party components that can support MS Office look.
