I don't see task panes for Access specifically, though the latest Access seems to have them. Can they be created in an Access application instance?

Hello Bob,

Access has Custom Task Panes by Microsoft.

Add a UserControl to your project. Add an item to the TaskPanes collection of the add-in module and specify its properties as shown in section Custom task panes in Office 2007-2021/365; see the PDF file in the folder {Add-in Express}\Docs on your development PC.
