I am experiencing an "Excel crash" issue with a UDF in my XLL module.
The first parameter of my UDF takes an Excel range so that the UDF is only calculated if a cell in that range is affected. If I modify a single cell in the range, the UDF works fine and does not crash. However, if I try to copy and paste to multiple cells at the same time, a crash will typically occur on the second or third time.

Is there anything obvious that would cause this crash (without you reviewing my detailed code)? If not, is it possible to prevent my UDF from running if multiple cells are changed at one? In other words, the UDF should only run if a single cell was changed.

Thanks,
Matt

Hello Matt,

I don't understand the test scenario. Consider creating a simplified version of your code and sending it to the support email address; find it in {Add-in Express installation folder}\readme.txt; please make sure your email contains a link to this topic.
