Support Team,
We are using Add-in express for Microsoft Word and some users have a lag or slowness typing in MS Word that looks to be directly tied to the presence of a custom-built table within the document template. The attached document contains that table. Working with Microsoft previously they were able to replicate and determine that the typing lag was tied to the many content controls being used in the table, which are Add-In Express content controls. When going in design mode into the table and REMOVING deleting the content controls in the table, typing speed within the document starts to improve and performance is better. How bad the typing lag is seemed to be directly tied to the number of content controls within the table. As these content controls being used are Add-In Express and not MS Word, Microsoft advised that we work directly with Add-In Express support.

Please suggest a solution.

Hello Dinesh,

Add-in Express doesn't provide content controls.

Find the support email address in {Add-in Express installation folder} and send us 1) a test document, 2) video demonstrating the test screnario and 3) a small sample project reproducing the issue.
