Hello,
What event do you advise me to use, to show as an example a welcome message when the add-in has finished loading and the powerpoint UI is visible.
For example:
I have used the event "AddinStartupComplete" which for MSWord and MSExcel works fine for me but with MsPowerPoint the message comes out before I load the UI, while the others load the ui first, the addin and then it shows me the message. |

Hello Josep,
As you found it, this depends on the host application. This should also depend on the host version. If the host shows the UI after the add-in starts, you should look for an event that relates to the UI. Say, WindowActivate. Still, there's no guarantee. In my Outlook, I have sounds turned on. When it starts, I hear the FolderSwitch sound while the Outlook splash screen is still visible (before the Outlook Explorer window is shown).
