Usually, on the first outlook start after the add-in is installed.

I checked that other forum thread and none of the computers affected by this have the mentioned registry entry.

Also, I noticed this in the known issues: Office 2010 - 2019 x64 Issues:
- "Unable to create specified ActiveX control" exception may be thrown on
an x64 host application if an add-in had been registered from Visual Studio
before a newly created native Office task pane was added to the
AddinModule.TaskPanes collection (Case #1374; by MS design).

Most of the affected machines never had Visual Studio installed.

Hello Velja,

Try to deploy IntResource.dll and IntResource64.dll files along with other files of your add-in. Supposedly, an antivirus blocks these files and this causes the issue.
