Outlook: How to display other text instead of sendername?

Hello,

can I change the displayed sendername? I want to change it in Outlook explorer and in the mail window.

Explanation: I'm getting mails from a person that has a lot of whitespaces in his sender name. So I wrote the perfekt function to remove those whitespaces.
I know, I can't change the sender name. But I hope I can display the sender name without all the whitespaces.

By the way: I'm using C#, but if you have any solution in other languages (VB.NET for example), that's okay too.

Hello Abel,

I don't know if this is possible to do. I would try the following. Create a reply to an email sent by that sender; in the To field, right-click the sender, choose Outlook properties and edit the Display Name. Send the email. I wonder if that modification would be applied to emails from that sender. If it doesn't work, I suggest that you ask this question on the Outlook for developers forum at https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?forum=outlookdev.
