I do not know if this is the right place to post this problem but the paperwork I received when purchasing has directed me here.
I have sent 3 emails about this problem, as directed, to support@ablebits.com during the past week and have not received a response.
I am getting a memory error when trying to install the product. Screen shot of the error appears here.

I have a very healthy newer Pentium 4 with Windows XP home. 1MB memory, 60GB of disk with plenty of room.
The system is virus protected and carefully maintained. No other problems exist.
Does someone have any ideas on this or can someone direct me to where I can obtain support to get the problem solved?
Thanks,
Larry |

Larry,
Seems, you don't receive our e-mails or they fall into Junk E-mails folder. My colleagues sent the answer yesterday as promised. He also sent the answer the day before yesterday. I post the answer here:
=============
Hello Larry,
Terribly sorry for the inconvenience,
but I didn't receive you previous e-mails.
Of course, I will refund your order on your first request.
Regarding the problem:
It is very likely that you installed Navigator for Microsoft Excel XL Navigator earlier. If it is the case and your previous installation(s) were successful, please wait for a couple of days until we prepare a special version for you.
If no, then please tell me:
- Do you have the administrator rights on your computer?
- Do you close Excel before installing Navigator for Excel?
=============
Larry, please answer one more question: which antivirus software do you use?

The email received from Alexander Frolov was received and responded to on 10/23.
I am the sole user of the system and therefore the administrator.
I have never installed Navigator in the past.
I have tried to remove the program and delete the Navigator files and then reinstall and received the same error.
Thanks

Thanks for solving problem Alexander.
For anyone that has similar problem here is solution.
Please go to Control Panel -> System -> Advanced
click Settings in the Performance section
then click the Data Execution Protection tab
There are two radio buttons. To install Navigator for Excel
correctly, select "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only"
Am now using the program. Its an easy way to combine worksheets into a workbook using Excel.
Thanks again. |
