Hi,
I have an issue where the Add-in Express context menu is not showing at all when right-clicked on a Add-in Express project in Visual Studio. (The menu where it has register, un-register, publish, etc...)
Context menu was showing properly on a version 8.7.4430 (the first install of Add-in Express on my machine), but when I've updated to further versions (8.8, 8.9 and the most recent: 9.0), the context menu never showed on the same project. I've tried to roll back to 8.7.4430, but then it stopped showing as well.
I've also tried to remove all Add-in Express references from the project and re-adding them, clean, rebuild and restart Visual Studio, but no go.
Is there a way to bring the context menu back?

Hello Brett,
Check your AddinExpress.MSO.2005 reference. Make sure it points to the currently installed Add-in Express version; set Copy Local = False, Embed Interop Types = False, and Specific Version = False. Close your project and reopen it. Does this help?

Hi Andrei,
It is pointing to the latest version installed (9.0.4610), I've set all those 3 fields to False for AddinExpress.MSO.2005 and AddinExpress.WD.2005 as I'm referencing both, saved the project and restarted Visual Studio but still no go.
Any other solution would be highly appreciated!

Hi Andrei,
I've tried it previously when I've updated to 8.9 and the context menu still didn't show.
I've tried it again just then, but sadly still doesn't show.

Brett,
Please choose Help | About in the main menu of the Visual Studio IDE, and click Copy Info on the About dialog. This puts the info the dialog displays to the clipboard, please send me that info to the support email address (see readme.txt) or paste it here.

Thank you. Add-in Express isn't registered with VS 2017. Reinstall Add-in Express and make sure VS 2017 is selected on the corresponding screen of the installer.

Hi Andrei,
For all versions I've mentioned previously, when I was installing it, I ran the installer as an admin, selected VS 2017 (it was the only choice enabled).
Could there be a way that it didn't get registered properly?

We have never been reported about such an issue. Is it possible that you reinstalled VS some time after installing Add-in Express?
