I just thought I would try to save someone else some grief. If you are creating CommandBarButtons at runtime, the ImageTransparency must be set *before* you set the image index for your image. If you set the Image Transparency after you set the index of the image your transparency will not apply.

Doh.

I wish I would have known that two days ago, could have saved me some headaches!

Yes, correct. The ImageTransparentColor property should be set first.
