Hi,

I have an Outlook Add-In with a custom form for the reading pane.

If I move my custom reading pane to overlap the default email reading pane with activated people pane it doesn't overlap the people pane.

It works if I deactivate the people pane and then activate it again. Then I can switch between my custom form and the default email reading pane with people pane.

Hello Chris,

Outlook build number? Outlook bitness? What AddinExpress.OL.2005.dll build number is used in the References section of your project?

Hi Andrei,

I'm using Microsoft Outlook 2016 MSO 16.0.4549.1000 32-Bit and AddinExpress.OL.2005.dll 8.4.4395.2005. But I think it's independent of these Versions.

Hello Chris,

You are correct, this doesn't depend on these versions. Sorry for misreading your message.

This issue won't be fixed. There are some specific details of Add-in Express communication with the Social Connector add-in via the protocol (Microsoft published it elsewhere) that cause this issue. Alas, these can't be bypassed or fixed. The only "workaround" is to turn Social connector off.
