Hello, I program a Wordaddin with Addin Express for .NET latest version. I almost all case the Addin works fine. Starts within few mSec.
But in some case, maybe 1-2 %, the Addin start very slowly the Start process need 10-20 Secound. (I see only a wait cursor in Word)

Is there any suggestions, what I can do to find this problem ?
Is there any debugfiles etc. ?

Or what is the best way to find this problem ?

Hi Andreas,

I think you can try to examine the adxloader.log file contents, probably the delay will be recorded there.

Or what is the best way to find this problem ?


I would suggest that you try to find a pattern in your/user actions that leads to the delay. Probably this happens when opening a large document from a network drive.

Please let me know if/when you find out something.
