Hello,
We're currently building an Outlook plugin and everything seems to overall be working pretty well. We've also gotten a *.pfx certificate to sign all of the files (*.dll, *.exe, *.msi, *.manifest) with.
After building the project, signing the files, compiling the installer, and running the installer, the plugin is never activated within Outlook. We always have to go into Outlook's options and manually activate the plugin.
We are wondering if you have any suggestions on how to have the plugin be auto-activated upon installation. Is there a setting that we're missing somewhere?
Any pointers would be helpful. Thank you. |

Hello,
Please reinstall your add-in, start Outlook and send me copies of these files:
- {My Documents}\Add-in Express\adxregistrator.log in the profile of the user who runs the installer
- {My Documents}\Add-in Express\adxloader.log in the profile of the user who starts Outlook
You can find the support email address in {Add-in Express installation folder}\readme.txt. Please make sure your email contains a link to this topic.
