Hi,

I'm using Advanced Installer 12.2 Professional.

I have problems installing an outlook-addin generated with .Net and addin-express. Problem are the custom actions, I have to define.

I uploaded two logs of adxregistrator to my server. So you can look at it.

First this is the log generated with an installation via WIX. All went fine. But unfortunately WIX does not create a license-dialog. So I would have to add it manually.

Next is the log generated using Advanced Installer with the parameters for custom actions found in help:

Hello Alexander,

> Error: The ADX Registrator can't find the Add-in Express core library.

Make sure that you deploy AddinExprees.MSO.2005.DLL.

Thanks. But AddinExpress.MSO.2005.DLL is in the Installation Folder:
User added an image

The problem seems to be that adxregistrator does not use this Folder as it's base-folder for finding this dll.
Excerpt from the log:

13:43:45 0228 Success. The directory is 'C:\Windows\Installer\'

Alexander,

As far as I know, Advanced installer unpacks adxregistrator.exe to that directory.

Make sure C:\Users\Barth\AppData\Roaming\moreSoftware\moreRemind contains AddinExpress.MSO.2005.dll.

thanks for your reply.

But as I mentioned above this directory contains AddinExpress.MSO.2005.dll:

User added an image

And - what makes me wonder is that the WIX-Installation functions without problems.
But i would prefer to use Advanced Installer.

Only finding the base directory for Addin-Express does not work the same way as with WIX.
