Hello Lakulesh,
Do you start Visual Studio using the Run as Administrator command? Please make sure that the Copy Local property on Add-in Express references of your project is set to false. Does this help?
Check if the project file and loader files are writable.

Hi Andrei,
We tried running Visual Studio using the Run as Administrator command and also gave write permissions for all files and folders with in the project and project file. The Copy Local property on Add-in Express references of the project is set to false.
Still its the same error popping up.
Thanks, |

Can you rebuild the project before add-in the module? Does the same occur on a newly created COM add-in project?

Hi Andrei,
Its a New Addin Express COM Addin project we are trying to create. We tried to build and the build was successful and still we are facing the same issue when trying to add Addin Express COM Excel Addin Module.
We tried this on another machine with same configuration and still its the same issue there aswell.
However we are not facing this issue on a windows 7 machine. But all our develelopers use Vm having the above mentioned configuration which is having this issue.
Thanks, |

Please try to install all updates on your Visual Studio. If this doesn't help, try to turn off or uninstall Visual Studio extensions. If this doesn't help either, open the About dialog of your visual Studio, click Copy Info and paste that info in an email to our support email address (please find it in {Add-in Express installation folder}\readme.txt).

Please send me a video showing how you start Visual Studio, create a project and get the error; you can use Jing - it's free. Also, please open the About dialog of your visual Studio, click Copy Info and paste that info in an email to our support email address (please find it in {Add-in Express installation folder}\readme.txt).
