updating installationUrl programmatically?

We have a few customers who are inquiring about having a local location (rather than cloud-based) for click-one updates.
Maybe I'm missing something but everything I've seen seems based on installationUrl, which is set on publish.
Is there any way we can update this from a setting (or something) at run-time, to tell it where to look?
We don't want to publish a different version for each client who may want this option.
So, the default would be our cloud-location, but through a property they could specify an onsite server address?

Hi Chris,

It is not possible in ClickOnce. Please consider to use another deployment strategy.
