The properties of the message "xxxxx" have been changed
Closing an read e-mail returns the message "The properties of the message 'xxxxx' have been changed"

Hi

Each time I have double click'd an e-mail to read it and when I want to close it again I get this message:

"The properties of the message 'xxxxx' have been changed. Do you want to save changes to this message?"

I haven't maked any changes to the e-mail. So what courses this message to turn up? and how do I get rid of it?

Windows 7
Outlook 2010

Hello Benn,

Typically this occurs if your add-in adds/deletes/modifies a UserProperty, Recipient, etc. and doesn't save the mail item. If this isn't what your add-in is expected to do, I suggest that you turn all other COM add-ins off one by one to find the offending add-in.

You are quite right. I modified my UserProperties in a situation where it was not necessary.
