Can i use VSTO with projects created with Addin Express.

Hi. I do believe that Add-In express is a great tool for developing and deploying office addins.

But in an Excel addin i need to extend some objects to get the extra functionality that the VSTO provides.

My question is:

Can i link to VSTO Libraries from an Express addin and use the VSTO classes?
If yes, can you advice me on how to deploy this addin ?

Hello Bledar,

The answer is No. VSTO features are supported by VSTO only. You cannot use a VSTO assembly with an Add-in Express add-in.
