hi everybody,
if this is not the place to ask these questions then there is no other, so here they come:
is it in any way possible to modify the folder icons inside the outlook tree explorer or add some more icons?
is it somehow possible to place a subpane not on the explorer side but on the left side somewhere under or over the tree explorer?
purpose is to use outlook as the general mother of own applications, because tree views of informational categories are basically a nice approach to display data.
what i want to avoid is "hiding" the original tree explorer and replace it by an own. i would prefer adding own folders to the existing tree but provide them with my own icons.
do you guys plan to add a feature like that in forthcoming editions, maybe for outlook 2007?
or does any of you users know a crack to these outlook limitations?
is it possible to disassemble the outlook exe-resources?
thanx for any help
regards

Hi Ronald.
I am afraid it is not possible to implement your idea in the current Outlook version. As to Outlook 2007, we will start investigating it this month. |
