WiX sample for downloading and installing a certain .NET Framework version?

I noticed that the WiX auto-generated by Add-In-Express only checks if a specific .NET Framework is available. Can you provide a sample code or a link with a sample? I've read several questions with partial answers and it would be very valuable to have it publicly available.
