Hi,
I have an add-in, which uses a VS Installer project to create the MSI installer.
One of my customers have uninstalled my app, but something must have gone wrong, because when he tries to re-install it, he gets the message that "a newer version already exiists", so it won't install.
He can't uninstall again, because the installation have dissapeared from the add/remove program list.
I'm guessing that something went wrong and some registry setting is still in his PC - do you know what needs to be cleaned in order for the installation to work again?

Hello Thomas,

Please check http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314481. Also, if your add-in is still listed in the COM Add-ins dialog, select it and click Remove.
