Hi,

My environment is Windows Xp.

I downloaded the latest "Security Manager for Microsoft Outlook, ActiveX" (v1000-b1400).

The steps I performed to upgrade from V9 to V10 are:

1. Uninstalled the existing "Security Manager for Microsoft Outlook". This was ver v907-b1347.
2. Tried installing the latest "Security Manager for Microsoft Outlook". This is version v1000-b1400.
3. After double clicking on the setup.exe, I get, "Installation Incomplete. The installer was interrupted before Security Manager for Microsoft Outlook, ActiveX could be installed. You need to restart the installer to try again."

Any ideas?

I have tried installing v907-b1347 again and the installation completes just fine. If I then uninstall v907-b1347, and try installing v1000-b1400 again, it always fails to install with the above message.

So it seems that I can install the latest V9 but not the latest V10 ActiveX.

Hello Rodney,

Please create a log of the installer and send it to me using the contact form at https://www.add-in-express.com/support/askus.php.

Start an elevated Command Prompt. Run the installer using MSIEXEC.EXE in this way: msiexec.exe /L*v log.txt /i {MSI file name}.msi. This will generate the log.txt file that may provide extra info.
