How to build a setup for AddIn Express for Office using Designer for WiX

Hi,

I just bought the WiX designer in order to build a more flexible (and good looking) installer for our AddIn Express based Office AddIn.
Until now we have used a manually edited WiX setup following you guidelines.
Now it seems that the designer for WiX cannot simply load the existing setup files (for one there are a number of duplicate entries caused by the includes in the old setup).

Do you have an example for using the Visual WiX designer for setting up an install project for an Office AddIn?

Hello Jens,

Setup Project Wizard allows creating a WiX setup project; see e.g. . You can further customize it using the WiX Designer. As to the issue you are having, would it be possible for use to look in the setup project? If yes, please send it to the support email address; you can find it in {Add-in Express installation folder}\readme.txt. Please make sure your email contains a link to this topic. Also, please provide some description of the issue.
