It seems like every time the user opens a new tab in internet explorer 8, a new instance of the addin application is instantiated. Is there a way to restrict this and have a single addin instance work across the different IE tabs? My addin uses state information and having a single instance is much cleaner than having to send state information to all instances whenever the user opens a new tab.
