Hello ,




I am having a really headache because of my problem with my IE Add-in.




So I go over a manually Setup Project and follow your instructions with.




Basically it is working but I have to run the IE as an administrator. If I run as without running as admin the IE the add-in dose not appear




As admin I see the Add-in and everything works fine.

Hello Samar,

Can you please check If the same problem is reproducible in this scenarios:
- Turn Protect Mode off in IE (menu Tools | Internet Options | Security
- Create a new empty (no code) IE add-on project and test it

I suppose that you use some things that are blocked by the Protected Mode feature in IE. For instance, it blocks writing to most file-system locations as well as to the registry.
