The home ribbon tab displays different sets
of buttons depending on which folder you are on.
I'm trying to develop SolutionsModule and
I want to display my own sets of buttons in
Home tab too when my own Solution module is
selected. So how do I achieve this ?
Is it simply hiding all the default home button tabs
and adding my buttons ?
Thanks for the reply |

Hi Roderick,
Exactly. Because adding custom Ribbon control into a built-in Ribbon group is not possible, you need to create a custom Ribbon group, position it on the HomeTab and show/hide it in the ExplorerFolderSwitch or ExplorerBeforeFolderSwitch events of the Outlook Events component (you need to add it onto the add-in module).
