Dear Sirs,

I want to add an extra button "Reply special" to the "Respond" group in the "Message" tab in the ribbon which gets displayed when I open a message in Outlook 2010. The button should be placed between the "Forward" and the "Reply with Meeting" buttons. I am aware that this was not possible with Office 2007, and would like to know whether this works using Office 2010 and Add-In-Express 2010 (see http://www.add-in-express.com/forum/read.php?FID=1&TID=4229&MID=20484).

I have installed Add-In-Express 2010 for Office and VCL and am now struggling with the question whether this is possible at all, and if so, how to achieve this.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Regards,
Olaf

Hello Olaf,

In fact, this is a restriction of the Ribbon UI: you cannot customize a built-in Ribbon group; instead, it allows you to create a custom Ribbon group. You can position the custom group before or after a built-in Ribbon group of your choice; please see "Referring to built-in Ribbon controls" in http://www.add-in-express.com/docs/net-ribbon-components.php.
