Hi Honza,

Thank you for the information. We will try to test our example under Windows 98 with Office 2000. Can you please tell me what service packs for Office you have installed on this PC?

Hi Honza,

I have just tested our example (adxtoys2wd.exe) under Windows 98 SE and Office 2000 SR-1 English. It works without any exceptions. Then I installed SP-3 for Office and again the example works well. I suspect the problem is in the Czech localization but I need to make sure. Please contact me directly by email, we will try to find out the cause of the error.

"..error:the add-in has fired an exception. Access violation at address.."
I have this error with all your examples.

I notice if in commandbar glyph is empty i doesn't have any problems.

I tested with win98Se Ms office 2000 (9.0.0.2812 French) and delphi 6 sp2.
Add-in Express 2.3

Thanks.

Hi Karim,

As I wrote above we have Windows 98 SE and Office 2000 English SP3 on our test PC, but I don't see the error there. Could you please contact me directly by email, we will try to find the cause of the problem.

When I use buttons withou glyphs, then all is OK.

Is it possible to make addin and in Office 2000 wihout glyphs and in better Office with glyphs?

Hi Guest,

Yes, it is possible. You can determine the Office version in the OnAddInInitialize event handler and if it is 9, clear the glyphs.
