Hi, I create dynamically an additional context-menu entry (popup) which then has ~60 item. It takes ~5 seconds to create the items (using a simple loop) and then again MS Word "freezes" for another 3-5 seconds before I can use MS Word again.

Are there some tricks to speed up that?

Or can I somehow store the created new items so that I do not have to do the iteration each start?

Hi Uwe,

All our experience shows MS Word is the slowest application of MS Office family with regard to work with command bar controls. I don't think having so many items we will be able to substantially speed up.

Or can I somehow store the created new items so that I do not have to do the iteration each start?

Only non-temporary controls are stored automatically.
