Access Violation in ADXBuildD7.bpl - just installed
got software installed but get access violation when try to use

As the forum suggested, I uninstalled the XP components and added the Windows 2000 office components and got past my initial error. Now when i load delphi it seems fine and i see the new Add-in Express tab. However, when i try to use any component i get the following...

Access vilation at address XXXXXXX in module 'adxbuildd7.bpl. Read of address xxxxx

Anyone else get this? Whats the solution?

Hi Nart,

What operating system do you have installed? Do you have Delphi 7 Update Pack 1 installed? Do you have any third-party components installed?

Hi Nart,

On our test machine with Windows XP SP2 and Borland Delphi 7 Update Pack 1 there are no such exceptions. Because we don't have some components set on your PC please try to temporary disable them and see whether this exception will disappear. Waiting for you reply.

Dmitry,

No good, I removed ALL 3rd party components and it still raises the error I described above.

I was hoping to avoid developing our own Outlook plug-in. However, at this point, I think the path of least resistance is to do just that.

It's only been a few days since my purchase, I'd like to arrange for a refund please.
