OnBeforeDelete?

Hi,

I'd like to process a message before it is deleted permanently. I was hoping there would be an OnBeforeDelete event or similar but I can't see one. Can you suggest an alternative method please?

Hi Trevor,

The OnBeforeDelete event exists in Outlook XP and higher but it's not of much use because it doesn't arise for the last item and doesn't arise if pressing the Shift+Del keyboard shortcut. If you can't use this event I can suggest using the OnItemAdd event of the MAPIFolder.Items collection of the Deleted Items folder.
