I have an ADX application that has the addin_initialize method called 3 times when Excel starts up. I have written code to ignore the 2nd and 3rd calls and this worked fine under ADX 1.0. Now under 2.0 I am getting access violations. Is there any reason why my Excel app would have the addin_init called 3 times? By the way, the addin-finalize is called 3 times too. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Peter,

In Add-in Express V 1.85 there was a bug related to supporting of Excel Automation Add-ins. Is your add-in an Automation Add-in? But in any case I recommend downloading and installing the latest version of ADX V1.

Now under 2.0 I am getting access violations.

Can you provide more details? If you consider this possible, you can send us your project (or some test project) where you get access violations.
