Hi,

I am using the D5 VCL version. I can install the OutlookExtendingAddin demo app and open Outlook. The embedded form is shown as expected but when I try and select another folder in the left side folders pane I get an AV. The message says "coOutlookExtendingAddin error. Add-in has fired an exception. Access violation at address 016FE000 in module 'OUTLOO~1.DLL'. Read of address 00000000"

Any thoughts?

What version of ADX Extensions and Outlook do you use?

Hi Fedor,

I am using Outlook 2000. The ADX Extensions should be the latest VCL edition. It was purchased in October or November.

Thank you for your quick response.

Unfortunately I still cannot run my app as I get a compiler error saying:

File not found '...\adxolFormsManager.pas'

I have the developer license which does not include the source files so the error is misleading.

What installation package did you use adxxvclol-v106-b0217-dev.exe or adxxvclol-v106-b0217-pro.exe?

You should download the Developer version: adxxvclol-v106-b0217-dev.exe.

Guys,

I did download the dev edition but the compiler error reports a pas file not found. The dev edition does not have any pas files so why would it be looking for the file? I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times now in case I had made a simple mistake but the error persists. Have you managed to install the dev edition sucessfully yourselves?

Trevor,

You used the wrong key (it starts with K52). You must use the key that starts with G8F instead. If you have any problem with this, please send me a private e-mail using the link at the left of this message.
